Over for another year…. (sigh…)

How was your Christmas??

Mine was pretty uneventful.  Spent it at my uncle’s place in Victoria Point, Brisbane.  My cousins and various children were in attendance.  It was nice to have us all together.

Received a lovely quilted table-runner from Mum – she made it –

I crocheted Gran a teapot cosy.  the pattern is from Coats and Clark – Eco-Living featuring Red Heart Eco-Cotton and Eco-Ways yarn.  I subbed for a ball of Bernat Satin and some left-over Red Heart Plush (now discontinued).

Bendigo Woollen Mills – ‘Luxury’ yarn – 100% wool

Bought some bendigo yarn the other day – just to see what the fuss is about – it’s sooooo soft!  The colour is ICE and the yarn is called Luxury.

Fine micron pure wool in DK (8 ply).  It is very soft and fantastic value – only $11.50 for 200g!  I’m thinking I’ll make the scarf in the Patons book or crochet a shawl out of it.  Probably the latter – my knitting is not very good.
